Radha Gopalan is an Environmental Scientist with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering. After a 20 year career in environmental consulting, she began using her field experience to make learning more practical and meaningful for children and young people. Radha is actively engaged in exploring transformative education approaches towards strengthening ecological and social justice so that all life can flourish.

He has a string of technology innovations, discoveries, and implementations to his credit, accomplished wholly in India and accorded global recognition, and is an active civil rights campaigner for the appropriate use of technology in civil space.

Colonel Pavan Nair

Col Pavan Nair

Col Pavan Nair retired from the army corps of engineers in 1997. He participated in the Bangladesh war and served in Sri Lanka and Kashmir. He has been associated with a Pune-based NGO, Jagruti Seva Sanstha for twenty years.

Darab Farooqui

Darab Farooqui is a columnist and acclaimed screenwriter (Victory, Dedh Ishqiya, Tigers, Notebook). His writing, in both Hindi and English, appears in The Wire.

Maj Gen Sudhir Vombatkere

Maj Gen Sudhir Vombatkere

Maj Gen Sudhir Vombatkere retired from military service in 1996. He participated in the 1965 war against Pakistan, and served all over the country, including 5-years in Ladakh. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Structural Dynamics from I.I.T, Madras. Since retirement, he has been engaged in activism with NAPM and PUCL, with an ideology based on the Constitution of India. He has over 800 published papers in the areas of human rights, development, and strategy. He is a Fellow of the Indian Social Science Academy.

TM. Krishna

T.M. Krishna

TM Krishna is among India’s most renowned Carnatic musicians, with a large number of album releases to his credit, marked by his unique approach to the genre, which leads to his equally well-regarded reputation as a World Music performer. He is a social commentator and an author of note. Awarded the Magsaysay Award in 2016, his unswerving devotion to a future of hope and
fulfillment for all persons materializes through his dedication of numerous concerts and events to the cause of social upliftment.

His work has been dedicated to the development of Constitutional justice, in the defense of both causes and people. He is a regular author and speaker at public events concerning state overreach into civil rights.

Reyme K is the Managing Director of One Voice Alberta, focusing on international students. She is a peace ambassador, feminist, social activist, motivational speaker, philanthropist, and a free lance journalist. She was awarded the title, the positive voice of the South Asian community award.

Omair Ahmad is the South Asia editor of The Third Pole, which reports on the transboundary river basins of the Himalayan region, as well as the editor of the Environment of India newsletter. He writes extensively on social and political issues, which have also been the focus of his novels and non-fiction.
